Manuscript Summary
This paper manuscript contains several texts in German connected to the history of the bishopric of Basel: first, a list of bishops, from Justinianus to Johannes Conradus de Reinach-Hirtzbach (pp. 7-20), then a list of the members of the cathedral chapter (pp. 21-58), as well as the history of the bishopric when it was based in Arlesheim (1678-1792; pp. 61-119). An identical copy of this last text appears in the manuscript A3237 (pp. 81-148). A coat of arms is painted at the beginning of this manuscript, namely those of Reinach (p. 2), which are also depicted in the armorial of the ancient bishopric of Basel (A3754, f. 82r). Facing the coat of arms is one that has yet to be identified (p. 3).
