Manuscript Summary
The manuscript contains the estate inventory of Jean Henry Bajol, lord of Saint-Ursanne, and his wife Anne Marie Hugué. Drafted in 1630 by Jacques Certier (p. 6), a bourgeois of Porrentruy and sworn notary of the Archepiscopal Court of Besançon, this manuscript presents the inventory divided into categories, such as houses and incomes, furniture, linens, feather beds, etc., and then presents the division of the intangible assets among the couple’s various heirs. This volume is a certified copy of manuscript A2776-1 and was produced for an unknown recipient.
